I very rarely write reviews, but after my experience with Frank and his crew at The Paint Professionals, I felt it be fair to pay my compliments. My wife and I closed on our two floor condo in May 2016. The good news was we got a great deal on it. The bad news, is that we had to update it from the 70’s to the 21st Century. This process we figured would be 3-5 years overall. But the immediate needs of paint, carpeting, fixtures, and furniture were pressing and had a strict schedule of 4 weeks as our lease expired from where we were moving in from at that time.
Our first concern of course was painting the nearly 1600 square feet pretty much from head to toe. Additionally we had a tight schedule to consider as we had carpet/flooring & furniture deliveries set up on strict dates.
After receiving several estimates, my wife and I decided to go with Frank and his crew, as I had heard through word of mouth that for the money, you would not find much better quality. Word of mouth was not lying. We did not select the easiest colors (Merlot in the master bedroom) and our tight schedule made it a challenge. But without fail, within 4 days of starting work, our entire condo (three bedrooms, living room, den, hallways/stairwell and dining room) was freshly painted and ready for the carpet/flooring company to come in. The work was exemplary. In fact, I would have thought it better, had Frank himself not walked me through all the painted rooms and he himself pointed out the challenge spots. These “spots” would have never even caught my eye had he not told me, and were not due to workmanship, but due to the age of the walls and window seals. After chuckling to myself, Frank even offered to try touching them up further, to which I declined. The sign of a true perfectionist! I’m fairly sure it bothered him more than me!
All in all, in a sea of painting company choices here on Long Island, I would strongly recommend The Paint Professionals. They were fast, courteous, clean, and skilled beyond expectation. I will certainly be using them again in the future. Next time, I won’t even bother having other companies come in for an estimate!
